On the right-hand side of the rocket launch pad at the end of Turbo Trail, you’ll find a Bot with yellow ears, a tiny bot on its back, and nuts and bolts in its arms alongside a wrench. This references the 2002’s Ratchet & Clank on PS2, developed by Insomniac Games. The wrench refers to Ratchet’s melee weapon, the Omniwrench, while the Bolts refers to the currency in the Ratchet games. The truth is, Playroom is an excellent game that is well worth your time. But Astro Bot took everything and improved it, which makes Playroom feel underdeveloped in comparison, even though it’s not the case. This one was tough to decide, as both Astro Bot and Playroom have wonderful gadgets distinct from one another, aside from the monkey, which both games have. It also doesn’t help that Playroom uses the only gadget both games have in common better than its sequel.

There are environmental puzzles that must be solved by pulling certain wires to open new platforms to jump on to make the ascent much more convenient. While it isn’t a traditional open-world title, all four maps are interconnected, akin to Bloodborne, and players can return to a central hub called CPU Plaza to access other worlds. Prince of Persia is a 1989 cinematic platform game developed and published by Broderbund for the Apple II. Taking place in medieval Persia, players control an unnamed protagonist who must venture through a series of dungeons to defeat the evil Grand Vizier Jaffar and save an imprisoned princess.

To make it appear, you must stand on top of a big plant near the edge of the level, just behind the Bloodborne Hunter Bot. Inside the capsule, another Special Bot (Lady Maria) appears to be trapped and needs rescuing. The fun is to explore locations, jump between platforms and perform simple puzzles. From time to time, we also find enemies that we can avoid or overpower with fast punches. Astro’s Playroom, like many modern games, features hidden trophies that add an extra layer of intrigue and challenge for completionists. These trophies are not explicitly revealed in the game’s trophy list, requiring players to delve deeper into the game’s mechanics and secrets to uncover them.

These platforms often feature user-submitted guides and video walkthroughs, providing diverse perspectives and solutions for challenging trophies. Artifact 1/2 “Buzz Controller”– At the first hang glider section, you need to try and reach the upper platform to the left of the platform you’re aiming for. If you miss and trigger the checkpoint on the lower platform you’ll need to restart the level to try again, if you don’t trigger it you can just jump off the side.

It didn’t change the core of the game, but it made the overall experience better. Astro’s Playroom could easily have been a simple tech demo, and in a way it is that. Its main function is to demonstrate the possibilities of the DualSense.

Astro’s Playroom lets you control Astro on a 3D platforming adventure across 4 different components of the PlayStation 5. You can go through Memory Meadow, a cloudy realm of wind and storms. Or visit the Cooling Springs, featuring a beach party setting and a surprise ice level later. You can also visit the GPU Jungle, which, as the name implies, is more of a jungle ruin to play around in, and the SSD Speedway with its neon sci-fi backdrop. After beating both versions of the T-Rex the credits will start to roll, where you can collect some coins.

Turn around and run to the start of the bridge to see two bots at the title screen of “Bot of War”. S8 of War for the PS2, developed by SIE Santa Monica Studio. Every single PS2 God of War was released in a PS3 collection in 2009, while the PSP duo were in 2011. In the second pink field area you’ll find a large rabbit-like robot jumping over the play area. It holds the Guiness World Record as the first platform video game in true 3D, beating out Super Mario 64 by an entire year.

It also supports customizeable controller profiles that can be selected via one of the two Fn switches below the analog sticks. Four profiles can be loaded onto the controller itself, letting them be taken to other PS5 systems. This also allows the currently-selected profile to be used on other platforms, such as a PC.
